Nurse Aide duties and responsibilities includes: 

Our caregivers understand the challenges of seniors and their family member have, which is why safety and companionship are important part of our job description.

  • Safety and Companionship
  • Medication Reminders
  • Assist Client with Pre-poured medication
  • Read medication label to client if needed or if client ask for assistance
  • Open medication container for the client if needed or if asked for assistance
  • Hand medication container to the client if needed or if resident ask for assistance
  • Accompany on outing and Doctor’s appointment
  • Assistance with shopping for groceries or personal items
  • Light meal preparation
  • Assistance with making phone calls
  •  Personal and Expanded Care
    • Taking vital signs
    • Dentures / Oral care
    • Feeding Assist if needed
    • Shaving
    • Back rub
    • Bathing/Showering
    • Bed Bath
    • Dressing
    • Grooming
    • Toileting
    • Pericare
    • Incontinence Care
    • Transferring
    • Turning and Positioning
    • Range of Motion Exercises
    • Ambulatory Assistance
    • Assist with wheelchair/walker
  • Light Housekeeping, but not limited to the following:
    • Laundry
    • Dusting
    • Vacuuming
    • Mopping/Sweeping
    • Tidying the house and ensuring pathways are free of obstruction

    • Bathroom & Kitchen clean-up
